It was such a joy to capture Charles and Denise's gorgeous wedding day! The Bride and Groom both reside in Washington, Dc but the bride is originally from New Orleans, La and wanted to share her unique N.O cultural with the love of her life and his wonderful family on their wedding day.
Charles and Denise met on a dating website for people aged 50 and over. They chatted online for a few minutes before exchanging contact information and the next day they talked on the phone for hours and talked daily until their first date. On their first date they met for lunch at a restaurant in Dc followed by a movie.
The two of them immediately clicked! They were both impressed with how easy it was to talk to one another and share the same values about relationships, marriage, family, finances, and spirituality. Three days later, they decided to close their dating profiles and focus on each other. "It was the best $15 we ever spent" They quote and the rest is history!

We had such a wonderful time photographing Lynell and her family. The day was nice a sunny with beautiful flowers and butterflies everywhere, it was perfect for this Maternity shoot! Lynell and her husband are expecting a baby daughter this year! They are both very excited, her big brother is excited too! We had an excellent time photographing Piara's Baby under construction Maternity session! Piara and the kids dressed in their hard hats and construction worker clothes while we used a work truck as a backdrop! Then after that, we went to the park and caught a beautiful golden sunset to add to our Mardi Gras theme shoot. Piara is excited about baby Darwin's arrival in April 2017!
Sterling and Tifni got married back in September at a Texas Court house where they lived but what they didn't do is tell some of their family and friends. They both decided to get married again in New Orleans and surprise everyone on their "Wedding day" by revealing that they were already Married! Congratulations again to Sterling and Tifni on your Wedding Nuptials!
