About Sorena

Sorena is a highly experienced event photographer based in New Orleans, with over a decade of capturing powerful, story-driven imagery. Her work has been featured in marketing campaigns for New Orleans & Company, as well as in exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Center and the Ashe’ Cultural Arts Center. She is also featured in the acclaimed book Seeing Black: Black Photography in New Orleans 1840 and Beyond, which highlights the rich visual narratives of Black life and culture in the city.

Specializing in corporate, government, nonprofit, and community events, Sorena brings a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of planning, and a natural ability to capture moments that matter.
