Visual Storytelling for Brands & Communities.
About Sorena
Sorena is a New Orleans-based visual strategist and communications professional with over a decade of experience in brand, event, and story-driven photography. Her work spans national and local media, tourism campaigns, nonprofit storytelling, and cultural arts spaces. She brings a strong visual eye and a communications background to help organizations document their work, share their message, and connect with the people they serve.
Sorena bridges the gap between art and business strategy. She holds a Master’s in Marketing and Communication from Loyola University New Orleans, which helps her bring a stronger strategy, storytelling, and communications perspective to her visual work. Her background also includes experience in PR, content creation, and marketing communications, giving her a wider understanding of how images support a brand, a message, and the audience it needs to reach.
Born and raised in the cultural city of New Orleans, with experience in the DMV region, Sorena balances a deep respect for heritage with a forward-looking approach to digital media.
