Recently, we had the opportunity to document a milestone celebration for a remarkable group of women: the 30th Deltaversary of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This group of sisters flew into New Orleans to reconnect, reflect on their shared history, and create new memories together. From the moment they arrived, the energy was undeniable, bold, joyful, and deeply connected. Their weekend began with a lively welcome hour at The Troubadour Hotel, setting the tone for what would be a nonstop celebration of sisterhood. The next day, the group photo session at City Park brought out genuine laughter and a sense of pride, with each member dressed in signature white or Delta red, against the backdrop of oak trees and New Orleans natural beauty.

Creative activities followed, including a hands-on session at The Bead Shop, where the women crafted unique keepsakes and swapped stories. Their itinerary wrapped up with a private dinner at Copper Vine Restaurant, where the table was filled with good food, even better conversation, and plenty of champagne toasts.

The event was thoroughly documented, highlighting classic sisterhood poses, candid laughter, and moments of reflection. Even after thirty years, this group continues to celebrate their shared legacy and embody genuine community.
