Ronald & Daphne Romantic Picnic Engagement Session❤️😍

Piara's Maternity Session👶🏾🍼🚧

We had an excellent time photographing Piara's Baby under construction Maternity session! Piara and the kids dressed in their hard hats and construction worker clothes while we used a work truck as a backdrop! Then after that, we went to the park and caught a beautiful golden sunset to add to our Mardi Gras theme shoot. Piara is excited about baby Darwin's arrival in April 2017!

Sterling and Tifni's Wedding Nuptials ❤️💍♥️

Sterling and Tifni got married back in September at a Texas Court house where they lived but what they didn't do is tell some of their family and friends. They both decided to get married again in New Orleans and surprise everyone on their "Wedding day" by revealing that they were already Married! Congratulations again to Sterling and Tifni on your Wedding Nuptials!

What a blast we had photographing Brittany's  Maternity Session! This shoot took place in my studio where we had fun music playing in the background and Brittany worked it for the camera. The theme of her shoot was royalty because the baby will be named King. I love it!! Take a peek at our fun shots!

Ralph and Ebony's Couples session💙💝

Ralph and Ebony was a pleasure to photograph, they were both down in New Orleans to celebrate Ralph's birthday! They also wanted photos of them in the beautiful city of New Orleans. I had no problem capturing their love story in the city of love. Feel free to take a look!

What do I wear to my Shoot?!👚👕👔👗

 

                 What do I wear to my Shoot?!

     Photo portraits are about people, but clothing could either make or break your photo shoot. When choosing an outfit for an individual shoot, look for something that is comfortable, something that fits your personality and style. Try to avoid patterns, plaids, strips and logos; solid colors works the best. If it is a theme shoot, wear an outfit that complements the theme. When doing spring shoots, try looking at spring colors such as, white, blue, light pink, light green or baby blue; look at spring flowers for inspiration. If your shoot is in the winter, choose fall colors such as, pumpkin orange, dark or medium greens, dark reds, and all sorts of brown; look at the changing fall leaves for inspiration. Try to bring a change of clothes (or two) and extra accessories so you get a variety of looks, a pair of earrings, hat, necklace or a simple scarf can completely change the outfit.

For Family/Group Photos, dress in the same solid colors; your outfits doesn't have to match completely, but make sure your group colors collaborate, this will help to avoid colors from clashing.

    Try to find out from your Photographer where the location will be, because the environment of the shoot could also become a big clash. If you are outside where there are lots of greens and browns, try to avoid green and brownish colors. If your photo shoot is on a beach try to avoid colors that match the sand.

 Please do not get discourage when choosing an outfit for a shoot,look at other photographs for inspiration, look at how their outfits collaborate with one another. Photo portraits are about people, but if you chose the right outfit/s it could be your best portrait yet.

Amanda's 50th Birthday Celebration❤️♥︎❤️♥

What a wonderful time I had photographing Amanda’s fabulous 50th birthday celebration, Amanda looked gorgeous in her beautiful white dress and loose curls. When Amanda arrived to her party she was blown away to see all of her wonderful family and friends there to celebrate with her! Her family  did a beautiful job with decoration and everything was nicely put together. Amanda must be a very special lady because she was shown lots of love that night!

Digging through the Archives☺️😌

Digging through the archives today, and totally forgot that I took a picture with this beautiful horse at one of my client's gorgeous summer Weddings located in Stafford Virginia back in 2013. I was running everywhere with my camera capturing greats shots for this wedding, as you can see my shirt is coming out of my pants and sweat from my forehead lol. (My awesome clients took this photo of me ") What I like to do sometimes is go back and look at my old work to see how I would approach it now with what I've learned throughout the years. I've came a long way and learned a whole lot after this wedding. I thank God for blessing me with wonderful customers and the skill to capture their memories beautifully.

Shade' and Trey's Maternity Shoot👶🏾💙

 

 

I am happy to share Shade' and Trey's maternity session! The shoot took place on The New Orleans Lake front, it was a very beautiful day. Shade' and Trey's family joined in the session and were ready to work the camera. Just check out their gorgeous coordinated outfits! We were able capture some really gorgeous shots, and had so much fun doing it.  Shade' and Trey will be welcoming their brand new baby boy to the family in January of 2017. Greta and Chris's Court house Wedding 😍😍

I absolutely love Court house Weddings! These type of wedding ceremony is pure and gets straight to the point. This beautiful wedding took place at the New Orleans City Hall Courthouse where close family joined them in an intimate and simple ceremony.

Greta and Chris celebrated after the ceremony with family and friends at their home for a reception. 

Thanks so much for including me in your intimate wedding and I wish you two a lifetime of happiness together!
